My research explores how vehicular ad hoc networks and intelligent routing mechanisms can support sustainable urban mobility in developing countries. It proposes a frugal VANET architecture using mobile roadside units and introduces a cluster-based ant-colony routing protocol (CARAC) to improve communication stability and data delivery in dynamic vehicular environments.
